Lord Simcoe Brewing Company launched  their new beer at Berkeley Bicycle Club.

The Berkeley Bicycle Club is housed in a historic mansion on Jarvis street with a rich history and epic architectural features. The event space features an architecturally stunning floor-to-ceiling glass solarium that lines the southern facade of the building, providing a modern alternative to outdoor functions.

This historically relevant event space boasts a 190 seat wrap around patio that can be used for any occasion. The Berkeley Bicycle Club is perfect for small weddings, corporate events and intimate private dining parties in Downtown Toronto.

The historic mansion with its intimate connecting rooms allows guests to make themselves at home and enjoy good conversation, music and signature beverages.

Berkeley Events Catering had the artisan pizza oven going and a comfort food menu created to pair with the Lord Simcoe Beer.

The Lord Simcoe Brewing Co. is named after British Army General John Graves Simcoe. He was the First Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada and founder of the town of York, or what we today call the Toronto or the 6ix.  Our 1791 Lager is an homage to the year in which he began serving as Lieutenant Governor, He is also responsible for the constructions of Yonge Street and Front St, two of the most popular streets in the city. This beer is a celebration of his accomplishments as well as the history of Toronto.

Hill Street Bev Co was at the launch presenting their alcohol free beer.

“We believe in supporting folks who suffer from conditions that conflict with alcohol consumption, along with friends who simply have no interest in boozing (yes, we know you’re out there). Today there are over 400 medications that come with a bright yellow ‘DO NOT TAKE WITH ALCOHOL’ warning, and when those little pills are the only things keeping you around, you tend to listen.

So here we are, crafting award-winning, alcohol-free beverages for people like us; people who face life’s challenges with a half-cocked grin, who appreciate every one of life’s amazing little moments, and who still want to celebrate them with a glass of wine or an ice-cold beer in hand.” https://www.hillstreetbeverages.com/about-us
